"I originally booked on the course with my daughter because she wanted to learn some new skills to take back to her Cub Scout group where she is an assistant helper; also she is hoping to pursuer a career in some form of outbound adventure when she leaves school. But I had no idea when I booked that I would learn so much from it.

I have been fishing for the past 35 years and after completing the course I have only just realised that I have been looking at the countryside with blinkers on. Not any more! And I fully intend to return on a course with my daughter very soon.

I cannot put a price on the expression on Sarah’s face when she managed to make a fire with a firebow. That one look alone was worth the price of the course. I don’t think she could believe what she had achieved."
