What's it about?

A huge number of our clients have found this course the perfect introduction to the joys of nature, bushcraft and essential survival skills for their children. Aimed at ages 8 upwards, we will show you the delights of shelter building, finding water, making fire and camp cooking in a fun, safe and controlled way. We will also attempt to get you closer to nature where we can hide you near a badger set, show you signs of animal behaviour and have a go at some basic tracking skills. The course is about observation, the reality of nature and all of the excitement that goes with it! We want to teach self-reliance and above all, confidence in the outdoors which is an important part of any child's education. You can then take your newly aquired skills and practice them together which is a great excuse to prise them away from the television!
