Hedgelaying
is one of those activities that engross the mind - you
can forget the time, your lunch and the weather and
really get stuck in. It has tremendous benefits for
the management and regeneration of neglected hedgerows.
Our hedgerows are vital for wildlife both as homes and
as corridors allowing movement between habitats.
All the skills required will be expertly demonstrated
then each of us will take a section of hedge to be laid.
The course will be of interest to rural craftsmen and
to anyone with an interest in the skills of the past
or conservation.
