What's it about?

Food, medicine, tools, the list is endless yet few of us truly appreciate the role plants, trees and woodlands have played and continue to play in our development. This is the key to fundamental bushcraft knowledge and once you know how to identify your species, you can then apply this to create pretty much everything you need. Whether you just enjoy the woodlands for walking your dog, or spend time living remotely in the outdoors, there is always something to offer.  From plants to cure your ailments, a refreshing drink, a nourishing meal, or maybe a plant to clean your teeth with! We will amaze you with what you can find if you know where to look! Bark, roots, leaves, fungi and plants all have a natural uses (from glue to soaps and plasters) and we aim to explore these with you.

Our native trees and woodlands are truly beautiful and magical places. This course will open your eyes to the wonders of nature and a walk in the woods will never be the same again! .
