Our ethnobotany courses cover plants and trees and fungi their identification and uses across a range of applications, these include wild foods and medicines and bushcraft uses. We focus on species that are of particular interest in an ethnobotanical sense. Depending on the particular course we visit a number of different habitats to explore as wide a range of species as time allows.
Ethnobotany & Plant Identification

Foundational Ethnobotany – Level 3
A 5 day ethnobotanical dive into a range of plants and trees specifically for food, medicine and uses for bushcraft. This programme is a Customised Qualification accredited by the NCFE.

Practical Ethnobotany and Plant ID – Level 4
Exploring the world of plants, trees and fungi and a myriad of uses across a wide range of different habitats and seasons. 18 days spread over 6 modular blocks May to November. Early booking recommended
